Coastal Fishing Village

This town was recently struck by a typhoon, & now your players are going to make a mess of it too! Or maybe the damage to the docks was dealt by the beasts the party is here to slay?

Whatever the case, it’s a coastal village built on a boardwalk by the sea!

Thoughts

• There may be enemies hiding underneath the boardwalk.
• It’d be a twist to have enemies good at leaping (i.e. across the boats & wrecked piers) but poor with water here.

• Coastal Village: A village partially shattered by typhoon or other recent incident.
• Blood Tide: This probably isn’t something as mundane as an algae bloom.
• Drought: A sea of sand has swept in & replaced a long-since dried-up basin. What happened to this land?
• Frozen: The lake has frozen solid! It’s winter!
• Raid: More than a typhoon, the town’s under assault!
• Swamp: Don’t swim in that muddy river.
• Whirlpool: That thing’s gonna tear apart the piers if it continues much longer!
• Day/Night Variants: Wherever applicable!
