Martial Arts Tournament Arena

This martial arts arena is built for duels, combat, sparring sessions or tournaments, with a field large enough to host epic battles or a dozen ranking matches! But is the opponent going to fight fair?

I was tempted at first to make this “martial arts arena” battlemap into a temple, but I already did a Palace Courtyard & it felt too similar, so I thought better of it & made a stage in the city streets. Host your battles in front of the roaring crowd! Bring on the next contestant!

Thoughts

• You could also use the inner ring alone as a sumo ring or otherwise constrained fighting space.
• Cages are positioned so that you could unleash animals from them, if the attending lord (positioned at his seat of honor) finds the fight too boring (or fair).

• Bloody Martial Arts Arena: Wow, people have really taken it to the chin. And the guts, and innards.
• The Pit: You’re either dancing around it or getting kicked into it.
• Summer: A cleaned-up summer version of the arena.

• Empty: The stages have been cleared out, leaving just the open arena.
• Jousting Pitches: Well, this isn’t exactly an east Asian entertainment, but who doesn’t like a good jousting tournament?

• Statue Park: We’ve demolished every part of the arena & built a statue of the local lord instead … which someone would like to desecrate and/or destroy.
